EuroShip Services Limited aims to protect the environment and where possible contribute to the development of an improved environment through effective management. Environmental Management is equal in importance to our safety and quality objectives.
EuroShip Services Limited will ensure that our procedures and operations reflect best environmental practice, we continue to develop an Environmental Management System and set objectives for continual improvement and effective pollution prevention. This policy applies to all managed vessels, offices and company workshops that support the managed fleet. Such a service is achieved by adhering to the following principles:

- Maintain an Environmental Management System compliant with ISO 14001.
- Comply with all relevant legislation.
- Taking account of codes of practice and guidelines to which the Company subscribes.
- Employment of suitably qualified and experienced management staff relevant to the operation of the types of vessels and management activities.
- Employment of suitably qualified and experienced marine personnel.
- Maintaining the vessels in accordance with requirements.
- Seeking to continually improve the effectiveness of the management system.
- Identifying and setting objectives in order to achieve continual improvement.
- Communicating the policy to improve awareness and understanding.
- Maintaining a high standard of environmental awareness.
- Establishing safeguards against all identified risks.
- Providing effective emergency response to environmental incidents.
- Communicating the Company’s commitment to the maintenance of a high standard of environmental management to Clients, Ship’s Crew, Classification Societies, Hull and Machinery Underwriters, P&I Clubs and Port and Sate Authorities.
- Making this statement available on the Company website www.euroshipservices.com
- Reviewing the Company’s environmental aspects/impacts, assessing their significance and effectively managing their actual and potential impact.
- Annually review this policy to ensure its continuing suitability.
