We offer a personal management service that is easily adapted to meet the very individual needs of all our clients.

Accounts Department

When a vessel enters management an Operating Cost Budget is submitted to the Owner for one year's operation split into quarters of the year. This budget Operating Cost covers all aspects of the vessel's operation including Crewing, Victualling, Insurance, Stores, Lube Oils, Maintenance/Repairs/Spares, Ship Registration Fees, Owners Communication and Port/Agency fees and management fees. An allowance can, if required, be made for Insurance Deductibles and Dry-docking.

The actual operating costs are reported on a quarterly and year to date basis and compared to the Budget. Also a projected cost for the whole year is made and compared to the Budget. Funding on a monthly basis by the Owners is preferred, but as managers we are flexible in meeting the owners' requirements in this matter. Our clients have the opportunity to fund us in the three major currencies from which we will settle vessels expenditure US$, €uro or £GBP. This avoids the bank charges normally associated with currency exchange and adds another option for the owners to utilise, should they wish to do so.

For each accounting period we provide comprehensive reporting, and will prepare invoices in the currency/s by which we are funded. With 'drill down' by currency, by transaction line, any area of our reports can be reported and queried on, providing an invaluable, informative detailed currency analysis report that provides a direct year on year comparison.

EuroShip invests in the welfare and training of our seastaff and combined with the continuity of employment we offer, this produces a well motivated and well trained team of qualified seafarers for our clients.

A comprehensive computer database provides all the necessary record of service and documentation for seastaff while also offering the opportunity to operate a linked personnel-payroll facility, which is monitored and controlled by the Marine Personnel Department and the Accounts Department.

All crew travel is arranged by ourselves, which in accordance with Company Policy, is always at the most competitive rates we can obtain through our regular cost-comparisons of established industry travel agents.

Budgets are prepared annually to take into account the relevant manning and salary requirements previously agreed and reviewed with our clients.

The Marine Personnel Manager is EuroShip’s representative within IMEC while regular attendance at industry-related Seminars maintains the Department’s knowledge of ongoing developments affecting seastaff personnel matters.
